From Lake Placid, USA
(Dec. 1, 2018) – Sara Roderick won her second straight IBSF North American Cup race in Lake Placid, taking victory by over a half second.
Roderick was the quickest in both heats, and had the fastest start in the race on her way to besting teammate Michelle Toukan and leading an American sweep of the podium.
Toukan finished a tenth of a second ahead of teammate Kelly Curtis, who completed the American sweep.
Sweden’s Leslie Stratton finished fourth, ahead of the United States’ Kristen Hurley and Nigeria’s Simidele Adeagbo, who rounded out the top six.
Canada’s Janelle Khan-Nielsen and Grace Dafoe finished eighth and ninth, respectively.
