From Lake Placid, USA
(Dec. 1, 2018) – Chris Spring won the sixth race of the North American Cup to sweep the 2-man program in Lake Placid.
Spring was the quickest in both heats on his way to a .8 second victory over Americans Geoff Gadbois and Frank Del Duca, who finished in second and third respectively.
Swiss pilot Michael Vogt finished .13 out of the medals in fourth, ahead of Hunter Church of the USA and British slider Lamin Deen, who rounded out the top six.
The win gives Spring a commanding North American Cup point lead going into the final two races of the season in Calgary.
Tyler Hickey finished seventh in the fourth American sled.
