(Nov. 24, 2018) – Fabian Küchler stayed perfect on the 2018/2019 European Cup season, once again setting the fast time in both heats on his way to victory.
The German faced a challenge from teammate Robin Schneider, who was only .01 behind Küchler. They were just about as close on their second run, with Küchler finishing his run just .06 ahead of his teammate to take gold.
Chinese athlete Wenqiang Geng finished third, .17 behind Schneider. Geng’s second run tied Küchler for the fastest of the second heat.
Wenhao Chen of China finished fourth, ahead of Germany’s Cedric Renner and Great Britain’s Jerry Rice.
Stefan Squire finished 13th as the second British slider, while American Austin Florian finished 14th.
