From Igls, AUT
(Nov. 17, 2018) – Fabian Küchler was the quickest in both heats in Igls to take his second gold in as many races, beating out teammate Robin Schneider by over a half-second.
Küchler was the quickest at every split.
Schneider had a fifth-quickest run in the second heat, but his first effort was enough to hold the silver medal position. Russian Evgeniy Rukosuev finished third.
American Austin Florian backed up his Race 1 fourth place finish with another fourth place run, while Jack Thomas of Great Britain and Russian Artem Drozdov rounded out the top six.
Jerry Rice finished 12th and Stefan Squire 14th to round out the British effort in Igls.
