Keisinger Sweeps St. Moritz ICC Stop

From St. Moritz, SUI

(Jan. 5, 2018) Felix Keisinger won the back half of the Swiss Intercontinental Cup doubleheader in St. Moritz, edging teammate Kilian von Schleinitz in the process.

For the second time in as many races, Keisinger was the quickest at the start and held that advantage throughout his run down St. Moritz. His time was good enough to edge teammate Von Schleinitz by just .04 to take gold, while Von Schleinitz won silver. The win was Keisinger’s fourth, and sixth medal in six events on the season.

American John Daly won his second ICC medal in as many events, this time winning a bronze to go with his silver medal from Race 5.

Swiss slider Marco Rohrer finished fourth for the second time in as many races, while Jerry Rice and Patrick Rooney finished fifth and sixth, respectively.

Paul Fraser and Evan Neufeldt finished 17th and 18th to round out the Canadian effort, while Jack Thomas just missed out on a top 10 with an 11th place finish for Great Britain.

Mike Rogals finished 24th for the United States, two places ahead of Kyle Brown in 26th.
