(Dec. 3, 2017) Germany once again won in the Team Relay, this time edging a very racy Austria team.
Italy was the first team off after crashing in the first race of the season, and stayed in the leader’s box for 8 more teams until Austria came down in a combined .158 ahead of the Italians. Germany then came down in a track record combined 2:22.644 to take gold, while Austria finished second and Italy third.
Canada continued a solid start to the Team Relay season with a fourth place finish, ahead of Latvia and Poland, who finished fifth and sixth.
The United States finished seventh.
