Germany won the Team Relay competition in Oberhof, winning by .2 over Russia.
As the weekend had gone, the German team could have plugged almost any combination of athletes into their relay team and won handily. Geisenberger, Loch, and the team of Wendl & Arlt actually came into the doubles portion of the relay behind the Russians, but the Wendl & Alrt helped the German team cruise to victory.
Latvia finished with a bronze medal, ahead of the Canadians. The United States finished seventh after trouble in all three segments of their run.
