From Vatra Dornei, ROU
Austria ruled the day in Vatra Dornei, winning not only the doubles event, but also the team relay competition.
Tina Unterberger was the only athlete for Austria who didn’t set the fastest time of their segment, but both Thomas Kammerlander and doubles World Champions Brueggler & Angerer picked up the slack, leading Austria to victory.
Italy finished second, on the strength of Greta Pinggera’s segment-best run. Russia finished third.
