Results from the final Intercontinental Cup women’s skeleton race of the 2016/2017 IBSF season, held January 27, 2017.
American Savannah Graybill led a North American sweep of the podium in women’s skeleton, setting the fast time in both heats on the way to victory.
The win was Graybill’s second win in a row, and third podium in a row.
Lanette Prediger of Canada finished second, just under a half second back of Graybill, and exactly .3 ahead of Megan Henry of the Unietd States.
Donna Creighton came into the second run in third, but fell back by .04 behind Prediger to finish fourth. Veronica Day rounded out a very good day for the United States with a fifth place finish, while Madison Charney finished sixth.
North America placed all of their sliders in the top ten, with Jaclyn LaBerge finishing tenth. Madelaine Smith finished 11th in the second British effort, while Erika Riedl finished 18th for Italy.
