John Daly continued his comeback trail, winning gold yet again, this time in Lake Placid.
The American was quickest in both heats, winning by .36 over Marcus Wyatt and .42 ahead of Jeremy Rice, both of Great Britain.
Pavel Kulikov finished fourth, while Kenny Howard helped put all three British entries in the top five with his fifth place finish. Vladislav Marchenkov finished sixth.
Michael Rogals and Greg West finished eighth and ninth respectively in a strong effort for the United States, while Evan Neufedlt, Patrick Rooney, and Paul Fraser all finished in the top 20 for Canada.
