2016/2017 IBSF Intercontinental Cup - Women's Skeleton Race 7

Results from the seventh women’s skeleton race of the 2016/2017 IBSF Intercontinental Cup, held January 26, 2017.

Savannah Graybill came into the second heat in third place, but put down a huge run in her second trip down Mt. Van Hoevenberg. Neither Donna Creighton or Megan Henry could match Graybill’s second run, giving Graybill the gold medal.

Megan Henry finished second, making it a United States one-two, with Donna Creighton finishing third for Great Britain.

Takako Oguchi finished fourth for her best finish since November of 2015, while Olga Potylitsyna and Lanette Prediger rounded out the top six.

Madelaine Smith finished seventh to round out the British effort, while teammates Madison Charney and Jaclyn LaBerge tied for eighth for Canada.

Verionica Day helped put all three American sleds in the top ten with a tenth place finish.
