From Zelezniki, SLO
Italy swept the podium in the fourth women’s luge race of the FIL Natural Track season.
Greta Pinggera led the sweep of the podium in Zeleniki. Teammate Evelin Lanthaler set the quick time in the second run, but it wasn’t enough to get past Pinggera, who had a small bit of trouble at the end of her second trip down.
Sara Bachhmann finished third, over two seconds off the pace set by Pinggera, and just .2 ahead of Michelle Diepold of Austria, who finished fourth.
Tina Unterberger finished fifth, almost three seconds ahead of sixth place Petra Dragicevic.
