Women’s skeleton results from the final 2016/2017 IBSF North American Cup race of the season, held January 20, 2017.
Rayoung Mun won gold in the final North American women’s skeleton race of the season, and took with it the overall title.
Mun was faster in both runs despite giving up over .2 at the start, finishing ahead of Race 7 gold medalist Donna Creighton, who won silver. Russian Olga Potylitsyna finished with a bronze medal.
Gracie Clapp-Taylor led the way for the United States in fourth, ahead of Olympic gold medalist Maya Pedersen and British slider Madelaine Smith.
Morgan Tracey finished ninth, while American teammates Leslie Stratton and Megan Dovell finished 12th and 16th respectively.
Jaclyn LaBerge was the top-scoring Canadian in seventh, one spot and .02 ahead of teammate Madison Charney.
