Results from the eighth and final IBSF North American Cup men’s skeleton race of the 2016/2017 season, held January 20, 2017.
John Daly once again took gold in the North American Cup. The American Olympian was fastest in both runs, cruising to a .77 victory over Race 7 winner Pavel Kulikov of Russia.
Joseph Luke Cecchini finished a season-best third, .27 ahead of Alexander Auer of Austria.
John Farrow finished fifth, which was enough to win the overall North American Cup title.
Kyle Brown made it two Americans in the top ten, tying for eighth with Korean Seunggi Jung. Allen Blackwell finished 12th and Andrew Blaser 16th to round out the American effort.
Andy White was the top scoring Canadian in tenth place. Kyle Murray finished 18th, Mark Lynch 20th, and Taylor Purdy 27th in the 37 sled field.
