IBSF women’s Intercontinental Cup results from January 12, 2017, the fifth race of the season on the ICC calendar.
Lanette Prediger set the fastest time in both heats in Calgary, on her way to a win by a full second over British slider Donna Creighton. Creighton was the only non-Canadian in the top four, with Jaclyn LaBerge and Madison Charney finishing third and fourth just behind her.
Madelaine Smith finished fifth for Great Britain, while Takako Oguchi finished sixth for Japan.
Savannah Graybill led the way for the United States, just outside of the top six with a seventh place finish. Teammates Veronica Day and Megan Henry finished tenth and 12th to round out the American effort.
