Results from the fifth IBSF North American Cup women’s bobsled race of the 2016/2017 season, held January 9, 2016.
Seonhye Lee and Yooran Kim went gold-silver for Korea in Park City. The win was the first ever for Lee, while the silver is the second for Kim in international competition.
Nicole Vogt finished with a bronze medal for the United States. Katie Eberling and Kristi Koplin finished sixth and eighth for the United States to round out the American effort, while Julie Johnson was the top-scoring Canadian in fifth.
The race also was the debut of the Nigerian bobsled team, a first for the continent of Africa. Seun Adigun had some trouble on her second run, but finished both trips down to finish 11th.
