Results from the sixth North American Cup men’s skeleton race of the 2016/2017 IBSF calendar, held January 8, 2017.
John Daly stayed perfect on the season, having gone two-for-two in Park City. The 2014 Olympian came into his second run in second place, but moved to the lead after British slider Marcus Wyatt had a bit of trouble on his second run.
Jisoo Kim had the quickest run of the second heat by a hundredth of a second, and was rewarded with a bronze medal run.
John Farrow of Australia finished fourth after posting a silver medal in Race 5, while Junhyeon Kim and Allen Blackwell rounded out the top six.
Andrew Blaser put his sled in the top ten with an eighth place run for the United States, while teammate Dakarai Kongela finished 25th.
Patrick Rooney was once again the top-scoring Canadian in seventh place. His teammates improved from their fifth race, with Andy White and Kyle Murray finishing 12th and 13th, and Alexis Morris 16th.
Great Britain was in contention for a pair of medals after the first heat. Kenny Howard had trouble at the start in his second run, and plummeted from third after the first run to 20th.
