Below are the points for the 2015/2016 FIL Natural Track World Cup.
Doubles Luge
The Italian team of Patrick Pigneter and Florian Clara dominated the full 2015/2016 season in doubles luge, winning all six races on their way to the World Cup title. In many of the races over the season, the pair won by well over a second.
The Austrian team of Christoph Regensburger and Dominik Holzknecht finished second overall, never finishing outside of the top five, and taking home three medals in the six events.
Russians Aleksandr Egorov and Petr Popov finished third, with two medals over six events, including a season-best second in Moscow. the pair came into the final event just 10 points out of second place overall, but couldn’t keep pace with the Austrians in Umhausen.

Women’s Luge
Italy went 1-2 in the overall points with Evelin Lanthaler and Greta Pinggera splitting four of the six available wins between them.
Lanthaler did no worse than third over the entire season, picking up wins in Latsch, Vatra Dornei, and Deutschnofen in the middle part of the season to pull away from the field.
Pinggera was steady throughout the season, never finishing worse than fifth. Ekaterina Lavrentyeva came into the final race of the season in second by five points over Pinggera, but the Italian took gold in the final race leaving the Russian back in third.

Men’s Luge
The closest competition in the FIL Natural Track World Cup came from the men’s singles division, where Patrick Pigneter backed up his doubles championship with a title in singles as well.
The Italain swept the first half of the season, pulling out to a commanding lead over countryman Alex Gruber. Gruber fought back over the next few races, slowly closing the gap, but was unable to overcome an early 40-point deficit in the first week of the season.
European Champion Thomas Kammerlander finished third overall, on the strength of a win in Umhausen and several third place finishes.
