It was an Italian sweep of the podium for women’s luge, with Evelin Lanthaller winning her third race in five attempts. Lanthaller has finished no worse than second,extending her points lead over Tina Unterberger, who finished fifth.
Greta Pinggera finished second, tying her season-best finish, while Sara Bachmann finished a season-best third.
Ekaterina Lavrentyeva was the top-finishing non-Italian, scoring a fourth place finish for Russia, while Unterberger finished fifth for Austria.
