In what was one of the closest races of the natural track season, Alex Gruber edged teammate Patrick Pigneter to take gold by just .04. Pigneter maintains his point lead, having scored a top-three in four of the five races on the season so far.
Thomas Kammerlander finished in the bronze medal position, a half-second ahead of Austrian temamate Florian Glatzl. Pigneter’s doubles partner, Florian Clara, finished fifth.
