Ryan Gautieri took gold for the United States as the Para-Skeleton World Cup took to the ice for the first time at St. Moritz.
The race was held in a “best run of two” format, with each slider taking two runs down the historic natural track. Gautieri was the only slider to crack 1:14, with his second run of 1:13.93 being the quickest of the event.
Matthew Richardson took silver, just .12 off the pace set by Gautieri, while American Eric Eierdam was the only slider to go faster in their first run, taking bronze in the process.
