From Königssee, GER
Canadian Kaillie Humphries has proven she’s back, setting the two fastest times in Race 3 of the 2015/2016 IBSF World Cup schedule on her way to the World Cup point lead and a gold medal in Königssee. Elfje Willemsen took silver for Belgium, while Jamie Greubel Poser finished in the bronze medal position as the lone sled for the United States.
Christina Hengster finished fourth for Austria, while Sandra Kroll was the top-finishing German on home-ice in fifth. Teammate Anja Schneiderheinze finished sixth.
Current track record holder Elana Meyers Taylor sat out the race in Königssee due to concussion symptoms, but expects to be back on track in Lake Placid for Race 4.
