Canada scored it’s first para-sliding gold medal in Race 1 of the IBSF Parabobsled World Cup in Calgary. Lonnie Bissonnette scored the fastest official runs in both heats to be the only pilot under 2:00. The United States scored silver and bronze with Aaron Lanningham and Jason Sturm, while Australia had its best finish in sliding sports of the early 2015/2016 season with a fourth place finish by Mark Urquhart.
